The Peninsula Carer Council provides support, and resource information to carers of people with a mental illness on the Mornington Peninsula and advocates on their behalf regarding issues of concern to carers.

Who is a carer ?
A carer can be a parent, sibling, child, partner, spouse, friend or relative of someone who lives with mental illness.
Carers of people with a mental illness come from just about every age group, every socio-economic group, and every cultural group. They all have one thing in common however – they care. We believe that no carer should ever have to feel alone.

We are not having evening Carer Support Group meeting during winter.

But we are still having our Carer Coffee mornings

Our Coffee Mornings are held at Trim’s Cafe usually 3rd Friday of the month.

The Coffee mornings are well attended and enjoyed by all, so if you haven’t attended, we would love to see you.

Trims Café 10am – 12noon.   40-42 Playne St Frankston 3199 (Trims Cafe is just near the corner of Playne and Young Streets Frankston.)
